About the Show

Handsome & fingertips is an evolution of Jacopo Tealdi’s manual theatre, and in this show he explores the meaning of life through puppet theatre and micro-theatre. We see a human being at a table, performing ritualistic movements: from a small jute bag in the palm of his hand, the story of a tiny ceramic mask comes to life.

Without the need for words, only through the movement of his hand, which becomes the body of the mask, Jacopo tells the story of how we become aware of ourselves and the world. A deeply enchanting and moving show, with the power of a dream capable of narrating existence.

With soundscapes and live music composed by multi-instrumentalist Maris Zumholte, pianist, beatboxer and sound effects artist. The actor’s attention, care and presence allow beauty, enchantment and wonder to manifest themselves with simplicity.
