Spymonkey presents "The Foundations of Funny — Clown Workshop by Spymonkey"

What is it that makes you as a performer uniquely funny?
How do you share that brilliant, special ridiculousness with an audience so they are helpless with laughter?

In this 5-day introduction to Spymonkey Clown we will focus on discovering the particular quality of “Funny” that is special to you, and only you.

You will be supported in developing these comedic skills in a safe, enjoyable environment. Through games, exercises, and ensemble work, you will unlock:

• complicity with the group
• trust in your best impulses
• risk-taking and adventurous play
• the pleasure of being ridiculous
• musicality and rhythm as comedic inspiration
